Camden Formal Cumulative Impact Assessment
Licensing Policy and input to NTE Strategy
The London Borough of Camden commissioned Six Till Six and Make Associates to undertake a review of the effectiveness of the two Cumulative Impact Zones / Special Policy Areas in the borough, Seven Dials and Camden Town. This includes options appraisal on whether they are still relevant for inclusion in the council’s Statement of Licensing Policy and, if so, any changes that could be implemented to better support the four objectives of the Licensing Act: the prevention of crime and disorder; public safety; the prevention of public nuisance; and the protection of children from harm.
In addition, work is underway to develop an ENTE strategy for the borough by the innovative business team, supported by Involve consultancy. Our project team are engaging with Involve to identify where our research could add value to this work.
