The government has summarised its guidance on social distancing and how many people can gather socially.
Social interactions with people from other households are limited to 6 people indoors and outdoors. There are some exemptions to this limit, Covid-19 Secure venues like restaurants and hospitality venues, can host a larger number of people in total but groups larger than 6 should not mix or form larger groups.
The advice is that people should continue to physically distance from people they don’t live with where possible.
Test and Trace
It is mandatory for certain venues to have a system in place to collect NHS Test and Trace data, this includes venues such as bars, restaurants and cafes.
You can use apps, bookings, or written records, to gather this information, which needs to be kept for 21 days. However you collect the information, it must be GDPR compliant and disposed of correctly after it’s no longer needed.
