Specialists in leisure, hospitality and night time economy management.
What is Kickstart?
The scheme provides funding for employers to create new placements for 16- to 24-year-olds who are currently unemployed, giving you access to a pool of effectively free staff to help your business recover and thrive.
Using the scheme, the Government is funding 100% of every placement for 25 hours work per week for six months including National Minimum Wage, employer national insurance and pension contributions. A grant of up to £1,500 per role is also funded to cover the cost of training and employability support.
What are the benefits to my company?
Fully funded work placements (minimum 5 for this service) for six months, giving you extra staff for FREE.
Training the next generation of hospitality and leisure talent to address the current skills gaps the industry is facing.
Supporting the work of NTIA through the Save Nightlife Community Interest Company to benefit the wider industry.
How can NTIA help?
NTIA has worked with our trusted partners at Six Till Six Ltd to create a support service to help you apply for 5+ Kickstart placements and maximise your chances of being successful.
Just click APPLY ONLINE below, complete the simple questionnaire. The team at Six Till Six will get back to you within 2 working days with the proposed completed application for your sign off.
They will then complete the application process, advise you when the response is received, and if successful help you to complete the relevant paperwork to advertise your placement vacancies.
Review of your application and suggestions to maximise your chances of success.
Submitting your application and sending you the application reference.
Support to complete the job description paperwork if your application is successful.
We will provide a suggested template if you want to advertise the jobs yourselves, as it is essential that the applicant applies through their jobs coach.
Delivering the mandatory employability training to your placements that is a condition of the funding, the cost being included in the success fee.
What does the service cost?
Application fee £250+VAT. This is provided at cost to enable us to offer the service.
And ONLY if your application is successful:
25% of the lump sum payment for each placement, so £375+VAT per £1500 grant received by you. This is far below the fee charged by many Kickstart Gateways, who often charge 50% or even 100% of the grant paid.
This fee includes providing the mandatory employability training for your placements, and a contribution to projects being developed by the NTIA Save Nightlife campaign to support our members and industry into the future.
