Tina has worked in the arts sector for almost 25 years. She began her career at the Arts Council working in various roles with them for 15 years, mainly in the East Midlands and also on secondment to National Office where she served as a senior officer to take forward the creative economy strategy with DCMS.
For the last 10 years she has worked as an independent cultural broker, mentor and bid writer. She regularly delivers arts funding workshops to clients such as the Royal Academy of Arts and through creative business development programmes delivered by organisations like the New Art Exchange.
She has a strong track record in securing significant arts funding including writing 4 successful NPO bids and significant arts project and reaching communities grants for individual artists and arts organisations. Art is her personal and professional passion, she specialised in visual arts and literature, but has a breadth of experience including digital and still regularly supports two performing arts companies as their part time development officer (Bamboozle Theatre and Aakash Odedra Dance Company).
Tina feels lucky to live on the doorstep of Leicester and regularly attends the cities wealth of cultural festivities. Professionally she has supported the strategic development of festivals and is currently on the board of trustees for Wild Rumpus – who produce spectacular outdoor arts events in natural settings.
