Wolverhampton Safety of Women at Night Training
Vulnerability training
Wolverhampton BID commissioned Six Till Six to design and deliver Safety of Women at Night training to complement existing initiatives include the Late Night Safe Haven Night Guardian patrols, Taxi Marshalls, Ask for Angela, Get Home Safe and Pubwatch, increasing the confidence of workers in the local ENTE and their awareness, knowledge and understanding of how to prevent, respond to and report incidents of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
100 individuals receive training, a mix of face to face and online, with content bespoke to the Wolverhampton city centre setting, drawn from a range of ENTE operators including (but not limited to) licensed venue staff, licensing officers, door staff, taxi marshals and taxi providers, Late Night Safe Haven operators, Night Guardian personnel and St John Ambulance volunteers that support the Safe Haven Service.
