Worcester Night Time Economy
Worcester NTE Strategy

Six Till Six was commissioned by Worcester BID to provide advice and support to develop a range of initiatives to lead to safer public spaces in Worcester at night.

We delivered a workshop with local businesses and stakeholders to identify priorities, carried out an overnight audit and a public perceptions study. This all informed an action plan that had resulted in creation of a Night Safety Charter that local organisations, establishments and venues that operate in the night-time economy can sign up to, demonstrating their commitment to help create safer environments in the city’s evening and night-time economy .

We have also delivered vulnerability training to businesses in Worcester to increase the confidence of workers in the local ENTE and their awareness, knowledge and understanding of how to prevent, respond to and report incidents of vulnerability. We implemented a bespoke Ask for Angela scheme, and provided support to set up a Pubwatch scheme and to create a Safe Space in the city that provides a temporary place for people to recover and safely make their way home.
